OrgTrust collects information you provide directly, including your name, email address, professional title, company affiliation, phone number, and profile bio when you create an account or business card. We also collect company information including management hierarchies, board compositions, and company descriptions.

When you use our services, we automatically collect certain technical information including your IP address, browser type, referring URLs, and interactions with our platform (such as profile views and card scans).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our digital business card and company directory services
  • Display public business cards and company profiles as configured by you
  • Send notifications about profile views, connection requests, and platform updates
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations
3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

  • As directed by you when you make your card or company profile public
  • With your company administrator if you are part of an OrgTrust company profile
  • With third-party service providers (payment processors, email services) who help us operate
  • When required by law or to protect rights and safety
4. Data Retention & Security

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which will permanently remove your personal data. Company information may be retained if you are the sole administrator until transferred or deleted.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security audits.

You have the right to:

  • Access and download your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Set your card to private mode at any time
